Dear Members,
we archive 2017 with satisfaction. Our Alfa Romeo 6C 2300/2500 continue to grow in the consideration and admiration of all enthusiasts.
Many are the won awards at exhibitions and concurs of elegance and many clubs exhibit 6C 2500 in their stands in the most important shows.
For example RIAR ( Registro Italiano Alfa Romeo) that exhibited the magnificent Cabrio Pininfarina of our member Nino Manzoni both in Padua and in Milan AutoClassica where the car was particularly appreciated by the public.
On our stand in Milan, it was present the wonderful Sport Touring of Corrado Lopresto that I still want to thank for the generous and elegant availability.
The ending year saw us reunited in Veneto, at the beginning of June, for the traditional annual Raduno with the participation of 27 6C !
Many friends, exciting roads, unforgettable countries and landscapes, embellished by a pleasant trip with dinner in Venice, beautiful and seductive as and more than ever. Perfect the direction and the organization of Gianni Tesauro that we thank again for moving us live a really enjoyable and prestigious weekend : a very nice Raduno, a great success for our Registro, that lives as always on the enthusiasm and spirit of membership of all the Members and the great commitment of Emanuele Morteo, our irreproachable treasurer Fabrizio Borghi, the register keeper Alessandro Salvetti and our “flag” Claudio Giorgetti.
We are working to renew our website that will soon be presented with a new format that we hope will be even more pleasing to Members and visitors and even more suitable and ready to receive photos and news from all of you : stories, imagines and witnesses are the necessary lifeblood to make our website live and prosper and increase its visibility and attendance.
2017 closes with an important breaking news in the word of Alfa Romeo Collectors.
After more than 30 years in office , Stefano d’Amico leaves the leadership of RIAR to Roberto Giolito, head of FCA Heritage.
It seems to be an epochal and probably unavoidable and necessary change with a direct commitment of the Company in the management of RIAR : we will see and we will careful and ready to collaborate with everyone, especially with Dr. Giolito whom we formulate best wishes for good work, to implement and spread the culture of Alfa Romeo and love for our cars.
Our 2018 international Raduno will take place in The Netherlands organized by Theo Meinster from 24 to 26 of August . During the Raduno we will participate to Spettacolo Sportivo, the sensational kermesse that the Dutch Alfa Romeo Club organize every year, this time at Zandwort.
The organizational details and the program will be announced shortly.
